FIFA World Cup 2018 Opening Ceremony will take place on 14th June 2018, Thursday at Luzhniki Stadium,  Moscow before the 1st match between Russia vs Saudi Arabia. The opening ceremony will set the tune of the tournament with an impressive theme song. There is a 30 minutes performances just before the kick off of the 1st match. It will lift the curtain raise for 2018 World championship in Russia. The tournament will run through 32 days from 14th June to 15th July.

In 2014, World Cup Opening night was celebrated on 12th June at the Arena de São Paulo in São Paulo, Brazil before the game between Brazil and Croatia. The 2018’s World Cup Opening Event was composed by Jennifer Lopez and  Pitbull on the official song “We Are One (Ole Ola)”.

The 20-30 minutes of the show will feature cultural and heritage of Russia. This is the 1st time when Russia is hosting World championship.
